The Weeping Elephant is a Happy Elephant

Now on display in Rotterdam at Bloemhof, until mid June.

‘The Weeping Elephant’ is on a journey and appears in different cities to express her ode to the wilderness. The sculpture of an African elephant is inspired by beech trees I encountered in the forest. The elephant hopes to surprise people and to let them reflect on the influence and beauty of our nature. Everyone is welcome on her stage.
