The Weeping Elephant is a Happy Elephant

Now on display in Rotterdam at Bloemhof, until mid June.

‘The Weeping Elephant’ is on a journey since 2016 and appears in different cities and natural areas to express her Ode to the Wilderness.  The elephant hopes to surprise people and to let them reflect on the beauty and influence of nature in which we are all connected. Everyone is welcome on her stage.

During my walks in the forest I encountered a group of beech trees, they were the inspiration for my work.

‘The Weeping Elephant’ traveled to: Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Brussels, Ghent, Hamburg, Bremen, Castricum at See, Leiden, Haarlem, Media Park Hilversum, Hoorneboegse heide, Hoog Buurlose heide.
