The Weeping Elephant

Now on display at the Hoorneboegse Heide, Goois Natuurreservaat.

‘The Weeping Elephant’ is a sculpture of an African elephant, inspired by beech trees I encountered in the forest. The elephant is on a journey and appears in different cities to express her ode to the wilderness. In this way she hopes to surprise people and to let them reflect on the influence and beauty of our nature, to connect with her and each other. Everyone is invited to use her stage.

During the exposition, musicians, dancers and whoever wants, can join the elephant to bring their unique Ode to the Wilderness. Contact:

‘The Weeping Elephant’ traveled to: Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Brussels, Ghent, Hamburg, Bremen, Castricum at See, Leiden, Haarlem, Media Park Hilversum.

We receive heartwarming messages throughout her journey. Grateful for your appreciation ♥
